They are a bit strict with their rules though.

It's not a bad place if your looking for inner city camping.

Fire wood is $11.50 per small bundle. They don't permit fires before 7pm or after 11pm so you'd never burn it all anyway. They deliver the wood to your site and ours didn't come till 7:30 so it cut it even shorter. It's a bit late if you plan on cooking over the fire. The 11pm isn't just on a sign or something either. At 11pm a man drove up to us on his golf cart and told us that all fires had to be out. I'd probably choose somewhere else next time.

We arrived to our neighbour's tent on our site and garbage in and around our fire pit.

I enjoyed my stay here. The trails are beautiful, the beach area is really nice, and the place is well taken care of. The tent sites could be a tad more private as they're quite open to all other campers with very little trees for shade/privacy. Also, it would be nice if fires didn't have to be put out at 11pm. None the less, it is still an enjoyable place to camp out.

We stayed for 2 nights. The 2 young people in the office were amazing. Very professional and polite. Which is really rare these days. The pull through sites are good but a little uneven for our 36'. Washrooms were very clean and the trails around this campground are amazing and well mapped out. A real hidden gem close to the city.

Nice to have a campground right in the city.

The sites are small with no tree coverage and there are plenty of rules. No noise or fires past 11. The laundry and dishes facility close at 9. The fire wood we bought was very wet so the fires past 11 wasn't a problem.

Well located. Good facilities with swimming close by. Your best bet if you're visiting the area for a period of time

I can see how some people would appreciate a place like this, however we did not.
